Most buyers who think they cannot afford a house can afford the monthly payment. What they do not have is the cash sitting in an account. Two routes run in parallel: your state’s housing finance agency runs assistance programs that are income-capped and change from year to year, and the Chenoa Fund, which is not income-capped and works in every state we lend in.
