  • Kat Miller

    About Kat

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Kat began her career as a loan officer at a local mortgage company. Nearly twenty years later she is licensed in California, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida, and has been a Presidents Club producer every year since 2008.

Kat focuses on helping people find the right solution for their home buying or refinancing goals. She works with all the traditional programs, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and jumbo, and also specializes in financing for self-employed borrowers, business owners and real estate investors through bank statement, P&L, asset depletion and DSCR programs.

Borrowers who have been told no elsewhere are often the ones she can help most, whether their tax returns do not reflect what they actually earn or the property did not fit a standard box. A mortgage is the biggest financial decision most people ever make, and she treats it that way.

  • Braydin Mehnert

    Braydin Mehnert

    About Braydin

Braydin built his foundation at a small community bank, where lending was relationship-driven and every file had a person attached to it. He later helped scale a mortgage startup through a period of rapid growth, which taught him how complex transactions actually get managed at volume rather than in theory.

Today he works with homeowners and real estate investors, and his focus is deal structure. The files that come to him tend to be the ones that did not fit somewhere else, and structuring those is the part of the job he enjoys most.

He is licensed across eleven states, which is a wide footprint for one officer and reflects how much of his business travels with the client rather than the market.

  • Bill McCracken

    Bill McCracken

    About Bill

Bill grew up in Tinley Park, Illinois and lives in Dyer, Indiana. He works in conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and DSCR loans.

The files he is best on are the ones that hit a roadblock somewhere: complicated income, credit that needs work, an underwriter asking for something nobody expected. He explains the costs at the start rather than at the end, tells you what is happening and why as it happens, and stays with the file through underwriting instead of handing it off. He does not give up on a difficult one.

Most of his first conversations are the same three questions. How much can I afford, how much do I need down, can I qualify at all. He will answer all three on the first call.

  • Daniel Lawton

    Daniel Lawton

    About Daniel

Daniel wrote his first mortgage in March of 2014. He lives in Will County and serves the southwest suburbs of Chicago along with counties from south of the city to north of it.

Conventional purchase loans are his highest volume, but a growing share of his work is non-QM for self-employed business owners and investment financing, particularly for buyers moving into short-term rentals.

His best work is with self-employed borrowers, especially the ones who are stuck at a bank or a standard lender that cannot make the income work. He has rescued more of those files than any other kind.

On rate, his answer is simple. He does not create the rate environment. His job is to help each client navigate the market and structure the financing around what they need. He will also, given the opening, brag about how fast the in-house team closes.

Daniel has coached hundreds of kids in his local school district over the past several years. He is part of the Plainfield Lions and belongs to a networking group that gives back to local families and businesses.

  • Charity Goode

    Charity Goode

    About Charity

For more than eighteen years Charity Goode has been helping families turn a homeownership plan into an actual set of keys. She is direct about what the process involves and works to keep it as simple and unstressful as it can honestly be made.

Buying a home is one of the largest financial commitments most people ever make. Charity works to close loans quickly and to put the right program in front of each borrower rather than the one that happens to be easiest to write.

She serves clients across Tennessee, Mississippi and Florida, on purchases, upgrades and refinances alike.

Charity and her husband Justin have been married for twenty-three years. They live in Tipton County, Tennessee, where they are raising their three children, Jaidyn, Madison and Justin.

    About Jesse

He spent 15 years trading treasuries and learning everything interest rate related. After retiring from trading, Jesse became a Mortgage Loan Officer. His background in trading interest rates, business ownership, and real estate investment helps him educate his clients in the mortgage and real estate industry. Jesse moved from Chicago to Tennessee and enjoys spending time with his family on their farm in Nolensville.

  • James Canfield

    About James

James served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he was Fiscal Chief, Funeral Detail Platoon Leader, and NCOIC for Supply and Logistics. He has been originating since 2015.

He is licensed nationwide. Most of his volume is DSCR and hard money for real estate investors, along with conventional, VA and FHA lending in the states where he holds a license.

For two years he worked as a solution consultant, which meant taking on the loans other people could not structure and finding a way to close them. That is still how he prefers to work. He does not want anyone reading this page to assume he handles only a narrow set of scenarios, because the difficult files are the ones he took the job for.
