The rules for our text message program, in plain language.
Program
The Mortgage Exchange (CME Lending Group, LLC dba The Mortgage Exchange, NMLS #1248883) sends text messages to clients and applicants who ask for them. Messages come from your loan officer so that you can reply to a person.
What we send
Updates on your loan as it moves through our process (for example: your application was received, your appraisal was ordered, you are clear to close), reminders about your closing, and, if you have asked for them, occasional messages about rates, your home, and homeownership.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. While a loan is in process you can expect a message at each step, typically a handful over the life of the loan. Outside of a loan in process, a few messages a month at most.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier may.
