About Blake

Blake was born and raised in Fishers, Indiana and still lives there. He and his wife recently bought their own home in Fishers and are starting their family in the area, which is part of why he likes working with young families getting their first house. He started in mortgages in 2020, straight out of college, and works across Indiana with most of his business in Hamilton and Marion counties: Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield, Indianapolis and Fortville. Conventional, FHA and VA.

He came up as a processor, and it shows in two ways. He knows how to structure a tight debt-to-income file so it works, usually more than one way. And he asks for the documents he knows underwriting will want at the beginning rather than waiting for the approval to tell him, which is what keeps a file moving.

When clients ask about rates he gives them the range and then moves the conversation to the payment. Rates move, especially in this market. If the house is right and the payment fits your budget, that is the part that matters, and you can refinance later if the market improves.

Every mortgage loan originator in the United States carries their own NMLS number, and so does the company they work for. Both are public, and both are listed on this page. Looking someone up takes under a minute and it is the single best habit a borrower can have — with us, and with anyone else you are talking to.

Company: CME Lending Group LLC, doing business as The Mortgage Exchange, NMLS #1248883. In Indiana, The Mortgage Exchange, LLC. Verify the company at NMLS Consumer Access, or see our full licensing table.

No rates, payments or quotes appear on this page, and that is deliberate. Anything you are told about a rate or a payment should come to you in writing on a Loan Estimate after you apply — not from a marketing page. If you want real numbers for your situation, that is exactly the conversation to have with the officer above.

A licensed loan officer reviews what you send and tells you where you stand, in writing. No cost, and no obligation to go further.
