About Allison

Allison has been originating since 2006, after a career spent entirely in banking.

Her territory is wide and specific. LaPorte, Michigan City, Chesterton, Valparaiso, South Bend, Mishawaka, Rolling Prairie, Munster, Portage, St. John, Crown Point, New Buffalo, Long Beach, Trail Creek, Duneland Beach, Sheridan Beach, Potawatomie Park and the Harbor Country area, spanning Porter, LaPorte, Lake, Cook and Berrien counties.

She writes conventional, FHA, VA, 203k and rehab loans. The borrowers she is unusually good for are the self-employed, people working multiple jobs, buyers with a short employment history, anyone taking on a rehab, and buyers who need down payment assistance.

The question she hears most is how much house someone can afford and what the payment will look like. She treats that as the opening it is, a chance to walk a client through everything that goes into a payment and how approval actually works, which usually surfaces a dozen questions the buyer had not thought to ask.

Allison holds degrees in management and liberal arts from Purdue University in West Lafayette and is heavily involved in her hometown community. Her family includes her husband Tighe, her daughter Vivian, and a miniature schnauzer named Trixie. She travels, gardens, and spends as much time outdoors as she can.

Every mortgage loan originator in the United States carries their own NMLS number, and so does the company they work for. Both are public, and both are listed on this page. Looking someone up takes under a minute and it is the single best habit a borrower can have — with us, and with anyone else you are talking to.

Company: CME Lending Group LLC, doing business as The Mortgage Exchange, NMLS #1248883. In Indiana, The Mortgage Exchange, LLC. Verify the company at NMLS Consumer Access, or see our full licensing table.

No rates, payments or quotes appear on this page, and that is deliberate. Anything you are told about a rate or a payment should come to you in writing on a Loan Estimate after you apply — not from a marketing page. If you want real numbers for your situation, that is exactly the conversation to have with the officer above.

A licensed loan officer reviews what you send and tells you where you stand, in writing. No cost, and no obligation to go further.
