About Jesse

Jesse Alvarez grew up near the south side of Chicago and began his career in interest rates working in the Bond Room of the Chicago Board of Trade. Jesse became an exchange member and began trading Fed Fund futures on the trading floor. Eventually, he became one of the largest Fed Fund traders at the Chicago Board of Trade. He spent 15 years trading treasuries and learning everything interest rate related. After retiring from trading, Jesse became a Mortgage Loan Officer. His background in trading interest rates, business ownership, and real estate investment helps him educate his clients in the mortgage and real estate industry. Jesse moved from Chicago to Tennessee and enjoys spending time with his family on their farm in Nolensville.

Every mortgage loan originator in the United States carries their own NMLS number, and so does the company they work for. Both are public, and both are listed on this page. Looking someone up takes under a minute and it is the single best habit a borrower can have — with us, and with anyone else you are talking to.

Company: CME Lending Group LLC, doing business as The Mortgage Exchange, NMLS #1248883. In Indiana, The Mortgage Exchange, LLC. Verify the company at NMLS Consumer Access, or see our full licensing table.

No rates, payments or quotes appear on this page, and that is deliberate. Anything you are told about a rate or a payment should come to you in writing on a Loan Estimate after you apply — not from a marketing page. If you want real numbers for your situation, that is exactly the conversation to have with the officer above.

A licensed loan officer reviews what you send and tells you where you stand, in writing. No cost, and no obligation to go further.
