Being completed state by state. Several states prescribe exact disclosure wording that must be reproduced verbatim rather than paraphrased. Each is being sourced from the regulator’s own published form and added here before this site goes to production. The Texas notice below is the one with the broadest publication requirement, and it is already live.
Texas
Texas requires every licensed mortgage company to publish a consumer complaint and recovery fund notice on its website. Ours is at the Texas Consumer Complaint and Recovery Fund Notice, along with the Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending’s address, phone number and website.
South Carolina
In South Carolina we hold a mortgage broker license rather than a lender license, which means we arrange loans there rather than funding them. This is stated on the South Carolina page and in our site footer.
Indiana
In Indiana our registered trade name is The Mortgage Exchange, LLC. Indiana disclosures and paperwork carry that form of the name.
All states
Every license we hold, with its number and the authority behind it, is published on our licensing page and verifiable at NMLS Consumer Access.
